Extremely Sad to see another death today of a legend: Dennis Hopper
Dennis started a new era in filmmaking with his classic and revolutionary film, Easy Rider . .
He worked over 7 decades and lived extremely hard! Sad to see him go at age 74 with
so much more to give as well.
Michael Emerson might have let this LOST information and secret slip
about footage not used in the LOST finale. I think it's one thing to explain
certain less important questions and answers on the full 6 season dvd set is one thing,
but to keep somewhat important scenes and answers attached to buying
an entire dvd set is annoying. Excited there is more LOST still to come though...
My feelings on LOST as a series is awesome but the actual ending/series finale is still up in the air..
leaning on annoyed right now...
Until I get all my thoughts together..here are some other great reviews and feelings of Sunday night's
Lost Finale - The End :
Quick Note before I leave the house to do a 4K walk for Mental Health at Jones Beach..and it looks
like rain! LOST FINALE is tonight..but so many other amazing things to watch all at the same time..YIKES!
Britta vs Slater! Abed vs Pierce? Senor Chang vs John Oliver..
The Dean and 101 - 99 Dalmations...yikes, indeed...
COMMUNITY FINALE is here and I did in fact, actually, cheer..(ok, inner cheer)...
LAST FRINGE IS UPON US...some delightful candy before SUNDAY'S LOST... Watching FRINGE LIVE and I'm going to commentate..Okay I'm an hour or so behind..but close to live.. FRINGE FINALE GO..
Before any quip or other comment..a warning to you all -
if you READ MORE...there will be spoilers about this most recent episode
and you can't ever take that back. 2nd to LAST EPISODE OF
LOST EVER (Nice that the one on SUNDAY..wow LOST ON SUNDAY..
is the length of 2 1/2 episodes...PLENTY OF TIME FOR DARLTON to answer all...right?!)
Chris Klein was never a great actor but was passable in a film like, Election.
He reminds me a little bit of Freddie Prinze, Jr (I wonder if the two are friends, maybe they
hang out). Anyways some people have said this is fake but this is too ridiculous
to be fake...Mr. Klein's publicist better be all over keeping this one bottled up.
Chris genuinely thinks he's giving a good audition here and it seems like
he worked on the song but he just can't sing. Not everyone can do everything
and that's just the way it is. On the other hand, Katie Holmes Cruise can hold a
tune & would never be this sad. Enjoy & Thanks to College Humor for making it available!
While I used to watch more of How I Met Your Mother and do catch it when
there's not a new Chuck on, I think I've only seen Big Bang Theory once or twice
and it didn't do too much for me. Many people love it and I guess it does very well
in the ratings but for me Community brings the funny and different.
Just a quick note more than a post or thoughts... A LOT has happened this week in television
and I will get to all of it...New Shows, Summer Shows, Fall LineUps...
Again please feel free to comment on shows you can't wait to see, ones that look mediocre/ehh and others
that seem like a complete waste of tivo space!
Before doing too much research...I'd think that "No Ordinary Family" with Michael Chiklis & Julie Benz
might be good as long as it doesn't become the mess we all kind of once loved called, "Heroes"
and since it's J.J. Abrams ...Undercovers might have promise.. but I didn't really watch Alias...
Help me & my (matt) Tivo out! I will get more into detail and opinion shortly..promise!
I'm working on this becoming more full time...if you are a reader of this blog, I appreciate
any word of mouth you can spread over the net - Thanks..now WHAT SHOULD I WATCH
THIS FALL and OVER THE SUMMER?!?!
Gus Gus Gus....you are a super genius, gentleman drug dealer and I wonder
if you have or will ever personally get your hands dirty...that is yet to be seen
but one thing is for sure, you have and will continue to have A LOT of money!
Like many of you I love Lost and if J.J. Abrams is going to do a television series,
especially one related to anything sci-fi, I'm in (until I'm..well out).
I never got into Alias and some episodes I saw were okay but it
just didn't do much for me, the same way Buffy the Vampire Slayer didn't do much for me either.
[I do have a feeling I might be revisiting both series in some capacity]
Alan's great and he asks the tough questions of Damon & Carlton as we wind on down with 1 episode to go and the Series Finale - I'm excited and really hope for an amazing end to a pretty incredible show & experience
over the last 6 years!
I awoke to my Tivo on Bravo checking out some Top Chef (which I got into a little
from the last Top Chef Masters) - Now when it comes to reality shows..
they aren't high on my list but I do fit a few in not named American Idol (which I have caught
over the years, who hasn't as it's on A LOT!) and I have resisted cooking shows...
LOST (Yes there are spoilers ahead if you haven't seen tonight's Lost - all my TV reviews have them!)
I had an amazing birthday and I'm spending the last remaining minutes watching this
latest episode which appears to be.. from the opening scene - A Jacob & Man In Black
Origin Story which might be cool - but we have all come this far to see our characters advance..
the ones we love. We shall see what's in store....Ok, time to UNPAUSE.
My 1st InterWeb Posting and you can get Kevin Pollak's Chat Show via Tivo now
but I still watch online - right on my desktop (I know, I'm behind!).
I try to watch live when I can but this I caught "taped" b/c it aired
on Mother's Day (Happy Belated to all of you great moms, aunts, grandmas, dadmas, & others!).
For more and to watch Mallory Keaton talk about Skip staring at her during table reads, Net neutrality, her entertainment company: FM78, Tyra Paris or Demi game,
my bad Larry King impression which has been featured on the show and a whole lot more....
It happened...I turned another year older and now that I'm finally old enough to be in my earlyish 30s...(I know, I'm still young!) -- I got A LOT to do this year from this blog to making films to living my life and I'm gonna find myself (or something anyways..any recommendations?)
A show I have been watching mostly Live as I did tonight with some lagging behind.
Enjoy that I can pause and watch it at my own will..which means I don't get to
one of my "not so secret pleasures" (Gossip Girl..which I'll get to in another post and I'm WAY
behind on it..so it's in danger) and tonight I didn't make it to Nurse Jackie - but tomorrow is another day..
Tonight's episode felt like filler and felt like fillings were needed with this strange almost pun that fit...
Hello fellow Tivo users, television fans (you can be in both categories, no fears), and others (hmm, interesting that you are here & reading my blog...a non TV Person/fan...again I say, hmmmmm)!
I sit here before you (this may have happened a long time ago..not before you were born but you might have had a birthday since this was written) typing my very first of what I hope to be many(yeah, yeah - it's called the LAZY and/or NOT ENOUGH TIME bug -- it's going around and there's no vaccine for it) posts about
[Insert Drumroll sound effect here]
CLEANING MY (<--Matt) TIVO
So you might be wondering Why among Who and possibly What...
