Community Finale - Pascal's Triangle Revisited - Cat Fight indeed...

Britta vs Slater! Abed vs Pierce? Senor Chang vs John Oliver..
The Dean and 101 - 99 Dalmations...yikes, indeed...
COMMUNITY FINALE is here and I did in fact, actually, cheer..(ok, inner cheer)...
Great start..Winger arriving like he does many episodes but this time he
spots many things including Annie kissing Britta's ex-boy toy
and we're off.....to a class in 5 minutes...

Annie decides to take a leap and move to Delaware
with her bf...not just for the summer, but for good..
She confides in Jeff...it seems everyone confides in Jeff...
Is it his charm or his lawyer looks...no, really because I give up!

Loved how Community is NOT afraid of gags...they go
right for the Dean showing up to ruin all the moments..
on cue!

Great to see John Oliver again..I wondered what happened to him..
I thought he was going to be a series regular but I'll
take him when I can....about time you put him up the
other hilarious person on the show..

SHOWDOWN 1 - CHANG vs JOHN OLIVER (Honestly don't know his name on the show
but I prefer to call him John Oliver..)

Oliver loves other people's misfortunes..starting with Jeff's in the pilot...
among others....Britta knows it's pointless going to him....she enjoys torture though..
Love John Oliver telling Chang how it's going to go down and then doing it...
Chang saying he 'was going to find his loophole' brought a LOST moment
right to my mind...and I'm even wondering if it was supposed to be a
salute to LOST because if you're a fan of television..you like LOST...

We all knew Chang would get his shot to knock out Oliver....at least
John was feeling pretty tipsy and it won't hurt too much until the morning..
His british humor with Slater was fun too..would have been nice to see
Slater lowball it with Oliver...hey, the man is FUNNY!

SHOWDOWN 2 - Abed vs Troy (with some Pierce on the side)

1st off...like I said..GAGS are this show. Troy is one of the GAG
masters..pun intended as he was choking on the centerpiece cookie
he decided was for him to eat...I think you can fit 2 Troy heads into that
Congrats Cookie!

Troy wants to room with Abed but based on Abed's movie & television
mind...he sees it as a no go due to the line of tape that would wind up
dividing Abed's room and their friendship. I think it may eventually
happen and then the tape will happen too...my thinking anyways..if I was writing the show...
hmmm if I was writing Community..lol okay so Pierce is more than happy,
eager even for Troy to move into his mansion which Abed encourages.
Troy agrees to move into Fletch's house and Pierce throws his usual
racial joke in there...but he says it in a way where he just might be
serious?! Troy has already been in a maid outfit...right....uh oh

FINAL SHOWDOWN, #3 Britta vs Professor Slater over Winger with a somewhat surprise guest

Professor Slater comes back out of nowhere but what did she miss about Jeff..
could it be the sex? Slater is beautiful and intelligent but their relationship
was completely sexual...not that there's anything wrong with that...
Jeff has wanted Britta from the beginning and they let it die down some
as Jeff thought he was 'out'...but Britta's been playing hard to get
and their back & forth banter...sexual tension came out
during the paintball blast 'Modern Warfare'.
Fun to watch Britta & Slater battle over Jeff throughout
the entire episode...and not 1 could help John Oliver
with his mustard mustache...
Britta went over the top and did something she would never do
but told Jeff that she loves him...and she, like Slater might have
been both overstating... I mean we get that Winger is intelligent
and it seems that sex with him is also a good thing...

So not sure if it started before this.. or just last week with
Jeff wanting Annie out of the group for the Senor Chang mix up...but he ultimately
makes her wish of all of them staying together come true...
I noticed that Jeff started caring more about Annie but
you weren't sure if it was anything more than coddling her...

The obvious thing would have been for Jeff to choose Britta...
so having him kiss Annie at the end...was sposed to be more
of a surprise.. It didn't shock me at all though..Winger
doesn't strike me as a 1 woman guy even if he thinks that's what
he wants...

I don't think there are any stable relationships on this show...heck,
it's college ...even for Jeff since he missed his...

Now either this will be a secret or not...but Britta isn't
gonna forget about Winger...Slater might...

Great Show and glad it's coming back!
The show is nonstop fun and gags and references...

What did everyone else think of this episode and this 1st season of Community?

***Last thing I wasn't gonna touch on but...not sure The Dean's Dalmation fetish was funny..
just kind of sad and a little reaching....hmmmmm... the big cookie worked though!
