InterWeb: Kevin Pollak's Chat Show - Episode #48 w/Justine Bateman

KEVIN POLLAK'S CHAT SHOW

My 1st InterWeb Posting and you can get Kevin Pollak's Chat Show via Tivo now
but I still watch online - right on my desktop (I know, I'm behind!).
I try to watch live when I can but this I caught "taped" b/c it aired
on Mother's Day (Happy Belated to all of you great moms, aunts, grandmas, dadmas, & others!).

For more and to watch Mallory Keaton talk about Skip staring at her during table reads,
Net neutrality, her entertainment company: FM78, Tyra Paris or Demi game,
my bad Larry King impression which has been featured on the show and a whole lot more....

I've watched this show from the beginning and you really need to
go back and watch (or listen - Audio Only available at itunes)
as many as you can. They truly are entertaining and fascinating
because people sitting across from Kevin have no
problem (mostly) sharing things about themselves that
their publicists might cringe at if they knew what they were revealing
(or their parents).

The list of past guests is a long one but some of my favs include:
Hank Azaria, Dave Coulier, Paul Scheer & Rob Huebel,
Dave Koechner, Weird Al Yankovic, Joe Mantegna, Matthew Perry,
Seth MacFarlane, Dana Carvey, Rob Corrdry, Jason Reitman,
HenryWinkler and many more..

See them all on the Archive Page

Kevin vs. Justine Bateman
Justine seems like a very cool woman and definitely a tough one.
She is definitely an activist and even though she showed a bit
of comedy in Family Ties, I think she is way more the dramtic
actor than her brother who has that in him but he's the "funny" one.
(He will or should definitely do this show and soon - Reitman
can hook them up or maybe Justine herself...she is his sister
according to the dossier)

I think it's great that Justine is fighting for us and saving
the Internet from being controlled by major companies.
She makes a point I've tried to make many times
and I don't want to get political but there are lots
of things that are "government regulated" in our
daily lives. I have always tried to use common examples
like police officers, garbagemen, mailmen, etc
She chooses to use murder which you can't blame her,
I wonder if there'd be an acceptable price to commit such an act
if major companies controlled it..okay I digress!

Justine answers questions from the audience via twitter & net chat room,
answers a few 'this or thats' (that I have asked myself,
plus changed the rules on Kevin) called Tweet 5's, plays
a cool Twitter game hosted by Freaks and Geeks (another show I need to
get the dvds for and see all episodes) Alum, Samm Levine,
talks candidly about her own career, and offers us a funny Larry King
impression for Jaime Fox's 2nd game. A great time and amazing insight including
the idea that Justine just had to meet Justin's agent, got a few commercials
and then Family Ties, almost just by showing up and being her! Amazing,
but not to fear, she has tasted rejection now and would rather be doing her
own thing via the internet which makes sense. One of the few, if not only
places where we have complete creative control over our content!

Justine offers up a Larry King and Here is mine (I'd say it's rated PG and isn't too bad at all):

It's on live every Sunday @6pm EST/3pm PST and until next show, Get outta my Blog Post!
