LOST - What They Died For - I can't tell you that, maybe you haven't seen the show?!

Before any quip or other comment..a warning to you all -
if you READ MORE...there will be spoilers about this most recent episode
and you can't ever take that back. 2nd to LAST EPISODE OF
LOST EVER (Nice that the one on SUNDAY..wow LOST ON SUNDAY..
is the length of 2 1/2 episodes...PLENTY OF TIME FOR DARLTON to answer all...right?!)
WHAT THEY DIED FOR .... referring to Sayid, Jin, Sun and all the others who died beforehand..
who may have been on Jacob's wall.. we'll never know ALL the people on that wall...

Speaking of the wall..let's jump around some:

Kate: "Why was my name crossed off?"
Jacob: "It's just chalk, Kate. The job is still yours if you want it."

Now when I first heard this bit of dialogue...Jacob's answer did amuse me.
After the episode was over though...it made me think this:
Just HOW MUCH have Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse been playing
all of us....

They made the names on the wall so dramatic and built them up so much..
where we thought..Jacob was actually eliminating people and trying
to decide on WHO SHOULD BE HIS REPLACEMENT..on his own!
Instead now with 4 Candidates left from process of LITERAL ELIMINATION
(The Kwons & Mr. Jarrad)..Jacob offers them a choice..something he never had..

Instantly, I thought of Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt both uttering that same line
in "Interview with the Vampire"...was it just me?!

Let me say that I did like this episode.. a very nice setup to the MAIN EVENT on Sunday...

Who is good and evil...who is playing for what side...it never stops flipflopping
on this rock.

We start with DES who is obsessed with his plan and wide awake in the Flash Sideways..he seems
to know everything! Was THE CONSTANT partially written to prepare all of us for DES
ability to do what he's doing now in the FSW...I think so!

Pretty cool that Des punches Teacher Ben...did Des just think of it because he thought
it would be a 'near death' experience ..or because he knows he punches Linus like that
in the other world...

With 1 finale extravaganza left...I hope the FSW is explained in a satisfying way but we shall see..
it has to come to fruition at some point = THE CONCERT (where everyone that needs to be there
will most likely be there [for some reason, just like Oceanic 6 all boarded the Ajira flight] to drink
Desmond's juice...Is he planning to nearly kill everyone..or is he actually going to kill everyone?!)..

The concert has to be David's as Faraday played with Driveshaft already...but then again..Charlie
didn't want to play that concert...was it postponed?! Could David be playing at the same concert...will Dogen & his son be there...maybe Walt will make a surprise appearance..

We all want answers...and they come in all shapes and sizes on Lost. Chances are..if you love this show
like I do...you enjoy demystifying it yourself & figuring it all out. Do you enjoy it when people
come right out with it or is it cooler when it's hinted at...I mean I think we all knew by now..with all the
ghosts on the show that the whispers were ghosts...so Michael wasn't surprising us too much...

Now what the Island is and the whole Jacob/MIB is another ball of wax..
People seemed to be very split on Across the Sea... I can't hate Lost (cept Jack's tattoo
episode and Nikki + Paulo..but still..it was LOST!!).. I was mixed on the episode..
It was entertaining but it was also informative...I didn't fully hate the flashback to
Season 1...it might have been done as a reminder but I felt like it just brought us back
to the idea that this island has been around FOREVER.. we won't get a full island back story
like how it came to be and where it's located (it keeps moving..yes..).. so many questions
that I will definitely be making a Post with a List before Sunday!

Ashes, Ashes..we all fall down...

Ash plays a huge part on this show..when it comes to these 2 figures.
Man In Black can't touch you if you're surrounded by ASH and
Jacob needs ash to talk to you ...either as his boy self or adult self..
not fully sure how the ash fully works...?

Was anyone surprised that Jack stepped up to take Jacob's
place...we speculated that it might have been Sawyer or Hurley..
but I think we all knew it was leading to this...Jack has pretty
much been the HERO since the beginning..flawed without a doubt..
but the very 1st FLASH FORWARD where Jack had the crazy
beard...from then on..it was clear he would be the one to save
it all. Now Jack is "like" Jacob but he still needs a lot of help..
to do what ever it is he needs to do.. no hydrogen bombs
this time --- Just him, Hurley, Sawyer & Kate plus Des's abilities
vs MIB/Smokey/Smocke/Flocke/BrotherNoName in Locke's body...

Ben is a wild card..I think it's safe to say he is playing
MIB.. and it might be safe to say that MIB knows
Ben is playing him...we shall see about that.

Miles might be in trouble...Claire might have pulled Des
out of the well..since they are both missing?!

It appears that both Richard & Widmore are dead..
but it wouldn't surprise me if both were living..

The episode did rock and it appears there
was a BIG reason for Jack & Desmond to have so many off
island encounters....they might be the last 2 left to finish the job...

Des has a lot to do...FSW crossover of everyone AND
withstand more electromagnetism...to somehow redirect it
either at MIB or the Island itself....

Nice to see Hurley fully on board with Des's plan
and "unready" Ana-Lucia show up to accept a bribe...
ahh Michelle Rodriguez..we love you this season!
(also one of my favorite parts of Avatar...her moments...
but not necessarily the actor obsessed with unobtainium!)

So many questions left....(hopefully) many answers to come...
I heard there's 20 minutes of answers to less important
stuff to come out on the DVD..*gasp*!

Poor Zoe..we barely got to know ya...were you a super
smart person and the only one who knew how to
operate the electromagnetic machine which may
be used against Smocke or the Island somehow on Sunday..hmmmm?!

What did everyone else think of the 2nd TO LAST EPISODE OF LOST EVER?!?

I missed this event..and had the chance...oh well..
Jorge Garcia (Hurley..as if you didn't..) and
Daniel Dae Kim (the Hawaii 5...umm Jin) were also there!
